If I cannot visualise it, I cannot understand it. A.Einstein
Rotator is born because of a necessity to visualize the simulated events in ATLAS detector. We wanted to see the trajectory of the particles in the detector itself and to be able to look at an event from all angles and positions. Rotator is designed to give a 3D view of the detector and the trajectories; it has also zooming facility and allows online change of the control keys. It is written using only X11 routines, so it is resonably fast, even to be used online. It served during the RPC chamber efficiency studies of ATLAS. Now, having its own 3D library routines, it can be used for any other simulation.
